Levens Hall, near Kendal, is a magnificent Elizabethan mansion built around a 13th Century pele tower, which was expanded and rebuilt towards the end of the 16th Century. Both the Hall and the gardens are open to the public.

Open Sunday - Friday. Closed Saturdays.
Gardens: 10am - 5pm (last entry 4pm)
The House: 10am for tours (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY ON THE DAY), 11am for general admission - 3.30pm (last entry 3pm)
