Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway

Lee Road, Lynton, EX35 6HW

Details

Unsuitable for:

The Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway is the UK’s only fully water powered railway. Built in 1888, it remains the world’s highest and the steepest fully water powered railway and one of three examples left in the world. The railway retains its original Victorian charm and this may present some modern day access challenges.
